Steel Spinnings was founded by the grandfather of the present owner in 1930. It has been supplying spun and pressed metal components to all sectors of industry for nearly 80 years. Our subsidiary company J.C. Taylor & Co. was founded in 1879.
Steel Spinnings prides itself on quality and technical excellence. Accordingly we have supplied major organizations such as Royal Ordnance, M.O.D. and G.E.C. Alstom. We currently supply leading aircraft component manufacturers such as Eaton Limited and Dunlop Bestobell.
A wealth of experience from our highly skilled workforce enables us to achieve specifications and tolerances beyond the scope of other companies.
Products requiring visual appeal and decorative finish are also well within our capacity as can be seen from the sanitary ware shrouds on our home page.

Our Service
We are able to advise customers with regard to the most effective method of manufacture which may involve spinning, pressing or a combination of both. The majority of tooling is designed and manufactured in house to keep tooling costs as low as possible.
In certain circumstances, redundant tooling may be available to reduce costs further - please enquire.
